Simply two days after being sued by Chipotle Mexican Grill for creating the “Chipotle Hen Burrito Bowl” and allegedly violating the burrito chain’s trademark rights, Sweetgreen has renamed its latest menu merchandise to resolve the lawsuit.

In an announcement despatched to Wholesome Residing Group on Thursday, a Sweetgreen consultant stated the corporate determined to rename the bowl to the “Hen + Chipotle Pepper Bowl” as a part of a tentative settlement to resolve the lawsuit.

SWEETGREEN SALAD CHAIN THAT THOUGHT IT WAS A TECH FIRM LOOKS WILTED

Chipotle Chief Company Affairs officer Laurie Schalow stated her firm was happy that Sweetgreen is amending their supplies “in a fashion that protects our emblems and mental property.”

“Subsequently, now we have each agreed to resolve the pending lawsuit, Schalow stated in an emailed assertion to Wholesome Residing Group, including: “We’ll proceed our vigilance in defending our mental property within the market.”.
